The secret recipe isn’t always edible.

I spend my days measuring flour and my nights writing.
Why I Wrote This Book (A Cry for Help) , this is NOT the title of the book 😉
11 years ago, I moved from the land of pyramids, chaos, and 24/7 sunlight to the land of … well, rain, the 50 shades of grey skies, bureaucracy, and fries served with mayo and 26 other weird sauces. At first, I thought it was a cultural exchange. Turns out, it was a hilarious misunderstanding. This book is my alternative therapy disguised as a memoir. it’s for anyone who’s ever:
- Stared at a Belgian “quick” administrative form and questioned their life choices.
- Compared Egyptian hospitality to Walloon “personal space” (and wept).
- Wondered why the sun literally disappears for months (crime? politics? Magic? Who Knows!).
Think of it as Eat Pray Love, but with more sarcasm, lots of swearing and a ton more praying (because let’s be real, only Allah can save me now).
Please note that the book is in Arabic. Not suitable for any translation as I am using Egyptian dialect that can’t be correctly translated. For the book’s introduction, please visit “My Book” section.
